Will SupaBord mark or stain a finished floor?

No. It is breathable, so moisture escapes rather than being trapped, which prevents marking and cupping. It is made to sit on finished floors safely.

How long can SupaBord be left down?

Through a full fit out. Joint Tape holds seams up to 90 days and Edge Tape holds edges up to 150 days, then it lifts away cleanly.

Can you drive a trolley or scaffold over SupaBord?

Yes. Contractor Grade handles heavy site traffic, trolleys and scaffold without tearing.

Is SupaBord waterproof?

It is water resistant, protecting against spills and debris while still letting the floor breathe. It is not a sealed plastic barrier.

About the product

The floor protection that breathes.

For more than fifteen years SupaBord has protected floors on Australian job sites. It is the temporary floor protection that does the one thing imported plastic cannot. It breathes. Floors cure underneath instead of trapping moisture, which is the difference between a finished job and a callback. It is Australian owned, made from fully recycled material and recyclable after use, and every roll is pre marked with measurements and cut lines for a faster, cleaner fit.

Questions

SupaBord, answered.

Will it mark or stain my finished floor? +

No. SupaBord is breathable, so moisture escapes instead of being trapped against the surface, which is what causes marking and cupping under non breathable plastic. It is designed to sit on finished floors safely.

How long can I leave it down? +

Through a full fit out. Use Joint Tape to hold seams for up to 90 days and the Edge Tape to hold edges for up to 150 days, and it lifts away cleanly when the job is done.

Can you drive a trolley or scaffold over it? +

Yes. Contractor Grade is built for heavy site traffic, trolleys, scaffold and general construction impact and abrasion.

Is it waterproof? +

It resists spills and protects against water and debris while still letting the floor breathe underneath. It is water resistant protection, not a sealed plastic barrier, which is the point.

What surfaces can I use it on? +

Timber, tile, vinyl, concrete, stone, bench tops and stairs. It scores and folds easily, so it wraps edges and steps without bunching.

How is it better than the imported plastic rolls? +

It breathes, so no trapped moisture and no callbacks. It is Australian owned, made from recycled material and recyclable, and every roll is pre marked so it lays faster with less waste.

Where can I buy it near me? +
